What Students Are Saying
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"She helped me with my fear of actually speaking Korean, and I feel like it's ok to make mistakes and learn from them."
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"I'm naturally a pretty shy person, so I was very nervous before joining the class. But you created such a warm and welcoming environment that I felt comfortable almost right away."
Hi, I’m Minji!
I teach every Speaking Club class myself. I’ve taught in Korea and here in the U.S., and I know that knowing Korean and actually speaking it can feel like two very different things.
I’m here to help you bridge that gap in a warm, supportive space where speaking Korean feels natural and fun.

Level 1 is for learners who can already read Hangul, even if you read slowly or are still building basic grammar.
Level 2 is for learners who can already use basic past, present, and future forms when speaking. Your grammar does not need to be perfect.
If you can’t read Korean Alphabet yet, we recommend starting with our Hangeul Workshop before joining Level 1.
-
Speaking Club is currently in person only at The Foundry in Cambridge, MA.
Level 1: Mondays, 5:00–6:25 PM
Level 2: Mondays, 6:30–7:55 PM -
Your $169 membership includes four Speaking Club classes in one 4-week cycle.
Membership renews automatically for the next cycle. The next cycle is charged 14 days before it begins, so you can continue without registering again.
New students can register anytime before the first class of a cycle begins. Once a cycle has started, enrollment closes until the next cycle.
-
No. Speaking Club is designed as a full 4-week cycle, so new students cannot join mid-cycle.
If the current cycle has already started, you can register for the next available cycle.
-
No worries. We normally provide a class recording for 7 days after the session so you can review what you missed.
Recordings are provided whenever possible, but cannot be guaranteed in the event of a technical issue.
Missed classes are not eligible for makeups, and students cannot attend another Speaking Club level as a replacement.
-
Yes. You can cancel your membership or request a pause before your next renewal.
To avoid being charged for the next cycle, cancellation must be completed before the renewal date, which is 14 days before the next cycle begins.
Once your membership has renewed, your place in that cycle is considered confirmed and the payment is non-refundable, including for travel, illness, schedule changes, or other personal circumstances.
If you need a short break, contact IDOH before your renewal date to request a membership pause.
-
Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 12 students.
This gives everyone regular opportunities to speak, participate, and receive live feedback and support throughout class.
-
You’ll be encouraged to use as much Korean as possible, but English explanations and support are provided when needed.
The goal isn’t to make you struggle through an all-Korean class. It’s to help you gradually use more Korean with confidence.
