Why IDOH
-
Words often come to mind.
But when the moment comes to speak, you suddenly hesitate. You understand more and more, yet what actually comes out still feels like less than what you know. And that is not because you have not worked hard enough. It is simply because you may never have been given the right environment to truly use the language.
Hi, I’m Minji.
I’ve taught in Korea and the United States, working with everyone from absolute beginners to advanced learners, and IDOH is the space I’m building from everything I’ve seen.Just as King Sejong, I Doh, created Hangeul so ordinary people could communicate and fully express themselves, I wanted to create a place where that same spirit could live on today.
At IDOH, Korean is no longer something you only study. It gradually becomes part of your daily life, part of your expression, and eventually, part of you. This is not a place to memorize language. It is a place to live it.
Fluency does not come from knowing more. It comes from using what you already know until it begins to feel natural.
And if what you have been looking for is not just another class, but a real change in the way you speak, then you are in the right place. Until your Korean begins to flow as naturally as your own breath, I will be here with you.

Every step of my journey has shaped the way I teach today.
I began my career in Korea as a high school math teacher after graduating from one of the country’s top Colleges of Education. This background in logic and structured learning still defines my teaching style.
I’ve taught in both Korean and American classrooms, which gave me a firsthand understanding of the unique challenges English-speaking students face.
Before fully dedicating myself to language education, I worked as a personal yoga and Pilates trainer.
My expertise in wellness was even featured twice on Korean national television. That experience taught me the importance of individualized guidance, intuitive communication, and the power of building confidence step by step.I bring this same student-centered energy into every Korean lesson.
My mission is simple. to make Korean more than just a subject, but a natural part of who you are.
